Job summary

Therapy & Beyond - ABA Therapy in McKinney, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver clinic-based therapy for pediatric and adolescent clients. You will work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to implement plans of care and measure progress.

The role is compensated by session rates and requires Texas licensure; prior ASD experience is preferred. Join a collaborative team focused on developing skills and independence for clients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and target developmental goals
• Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis
• Assess and facilitate the patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient’s ADL performance needs
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
• Evaluate the efficiency of the treatment
• Demonstration of professional behavior
• Competence with Crisis Intervention
• Facilitate effective training with parents and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
