Job summary

Therapy & Beyond is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver clinic-based therapy services in Fort Worth, TX, partnering with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to provide high-quality care for pediatric and adolescent clients on-site.

The role is compensated by session and requires current Texas licensure. A collaborative, interdisciplinary team approach and a commitment to putting people first are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist
• Two years of direct service work in a treatment setting for patients preferred
• Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and target developmental goals
• Document, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basis
• Assess and facilitate the patient’s ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient’s ADL performance needs
• Implement, monitor, collect and evaluate data
• Evaluate the efficiency of the treatment
• Demonstration of professional behavior
• Competence with Crisis Intervention
• Facilitate effective training with parents and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Service patients within 30 minute, 1:1 OT sessions
