Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Pediatric Sales Specialist to promote and grow Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings within Montgomery County, MD and surrounding areas. The role requires building relationships with NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, and Nursing units, and delivering product knowledge in a compelling selling environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of healthcare sales experience, with familiarity in hospital settings

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office settings for Similac and PediaSure.
• Hospital negotiations and contracting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
• New product launches.
• Understanding hospital department hierarchies and effective collaboration with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
• Budget management.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and autonomy.
• Self-motivation to achieve short- and long-term goals.
