Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to join our leadership team. The ADON will act as clinical educator, QA leader, and operational nursing partner, guiding staff and ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional resident care.

RN licensure is required, with BSN preferred. The role supports the Director of Nursing in daily operations, education, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• RN with active PA license and BSN preferred
• Proven experience as nursing leader and educator
• Experience with performance improvement and regulatory processes

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education and staff development programs
• Support daily nursing operations and high-quality resident care
• Participate in QAPI audits, monitoring, and improvement initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards
• Coach and develop nursing staff for clinical excellence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes
• Support infection prevention, policy implementation, and competency validation
• Serve as clinical resource and leadership presence for staff, residents, and families
