Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations, promote high-quality resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance. The RN in this leadership role will educate staff, drive QA/PI initiatives, and lead infection prevention measures.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a PA license; BSN required.
• Minimum of three years’ nursing experience; pediatrics preferred.
• BLS required; PALS or ENPC preferred.
• Experience as a nursing leader and educator.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and regulatory processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education and staff development programs.
• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and delivery of high-quality resident care.
• Assist with QAPI audits, monitoring outcomes and performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote regulatory compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff for clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for positive resident outcomes.
• Assist with infection prevention, policy implementation and ongoing education initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical resource and leadership presence for staff, residents, and families.
