Job summary

Unitek Learning in Porterville, CA, is seeking a Pediatric Nursing Instructor to join our Workforce Solutions team to teach our BSN program in conjunction with Sierra View.

The instructor will provide Sim/Skills Lab and/or Clinical site education to students, with a minimum commitment of one day per week (Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays). Hours vary with rotations and lab sessions, and the role includes evaluating student performance and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Hold a California BRN license (unencumbered).
• Four years of RN experience with recent clinical background.
• Experience teaching nursing or RN-related courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical/skills lab records and attendance.
