Job summary

Unitek Learning Education Group Corp. (Unitek Learning) seeks a BSN Nursing Instructor to provide clinical and skills lab education in Fresno in collaboration with Community Health Systems. Hours vary with clinical rotations and skills labs, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

The instructor will teach per established curriculum, supervise student experiences, evaluate performance, and maintain records while keeping up with safety regulations and educational technology.

Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered California BRN license or eligibility as Instructor for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics.
• Master’s degree including nursing/education/administration coursework; teaching credential for assignment faculty.
• BSN and enrollment in a Master’s program may qualify for a Clinical Teaching Assistant role.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and skills lab education to students per established curriculum.
• Supervise student clinical experience in assigned health care facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate student records including attendance and skill check-off forms.
• Provide timely feedback on clinical performance after observations.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students using best teaching methods.
• Contribute to program outcomes data and required reporting.
