Job summary
Unitek College of nursing is seeking Part-Time Vocational Nursing Instructors to join our team in Fremont, CA. Weekend clinical availability is required and teaching spans lecture and clinical rotations across multiple times and locations.

Qualifications
- Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification
- Experience meeting faculty requirements set by the state board
Responsibilities
- Improve quality of instruction by using innovative teaching methods
- Utilize online activities to enhance course content
- Review and revise syllabus for specific courses
- Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner
- Maintain student attendance, grades and skills check-offs
- Keep clinical requirements files up to date
- Teach courses at various times and locations
- Teach lectures and clinical rotations (days/evenings, weekdays/weekends)
- Participate in professional development and stay current with college updates
- Participate in committees as assigned
