Job summary

Blue Cloud seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team across its pediatric ambulatory surgery centers. The role is responsible for formulating nursing philosophy, implementing policies, and ensuring compliant, high-quality patient care.

The position requires active RN licensure, minimum nursing experience, and leadership capabilities to supervise staff, manage infection control, and coordinate with administration to maintain safe perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, retention, evaluation and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Formulate and implement nursing philosophy aligned with center goals.
• Develop policies and staffing to support nursing objectives.
• Ensure documentation meets legal and regulatory standards.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices in the OR/PACU.
• Provide leadership and staff development for nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with administration and other staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
