Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a part-time Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Boca Raton, FL practice. The role features afternoons only, Monday–Friday 1:30pm–5pm with rotated Saturday mornings, and no rounding or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Florida license to practice medicine or ability to obtain in Florida
• DEA license or ability to obtain in Florida
• BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

Experience:

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
