Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking an experienced Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our 100% outpatient practice in Sebring and Lake Placid, FL. You will deliver high-quality pediatric care in a compassionate, family-centered environment and partner with board-certified pediatricians.

The role offers a predictable weekday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings, no night shifts thanks to telemedicine coverage, and comprehensive benefits including relocation

Qualifications

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a NP/PA required.
• Successful completion of an Accredited NP/PA program.
• Current unrestricted Florida license and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient practice, building lasting relationships with patients and families.
• Predictable weekday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings.
• No night call; telemedicine team provides after-hours coverage.
• Join a NHSC-approved site eligible for loan repayment.
• Work with EMR system eClinicalWorks.

Experience:

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
