Qualifications

• Board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with NP candidate experience in pediatrics.
• Active APRN licensure in Maine and board certification in pediatrics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an outpatient setting.

Kennebec Pediatrics, a thriving, well-established practice of MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a board certified and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, to join their collegial team, meeting patients' medical needs through compassionate, respectful and professional care. Join an incredible team at Kennebec Pediatrics including 8 physicians and a full complement of nursing and support staff in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive medical care from infancy to young adulthood.

Highlights of the Position

Schedule consists of 32 clinical hours and the benefit of 8 hours scheduled, dedicated administrative time No evening clinic hours No inpatient pediatric, Emergency Department or newborn nursery coverage. Call rotation consists of 1 in 8 weekends. After-hours on call service that begins at 4:50 pm - 7:45 am on weekdays, weekend call service begins at 2:00 pm to 9:00 am. Third year medical students from UNE rotate through the practices. Opportunity to fill in as pediatric hospitalist if desired, although not required.
