Qualifications

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required.
• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Florida license or ability to obtain licensure in Florida.
• Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain in Florida.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care in a part-time schedule.
• Collaborate with a group of pediatricians and a nurse practitioner.
• Deliver high-quality pediatric healthcare with compassionate service.

Position Overview:

• Part-timeposition
  • Tuesday-Thursday: 1:30pm-7pm
  • Friday: 8am-5pm
  • 1 Saturday every 4 weeks from 8am-noon

Experience:

• 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
