Qualifications

• 4 years of nursing experience
• 2 years in specialty nursing (Dialysis/Nephrology)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Georgia RN license or multi-state license
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment
• Strong computer skills and data/documentation ability
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems and basic software

Responsibilities

• Coordinates evaluation and consultation for inpatients and outpatients; ensure documentation and follow-up.
• Handle outpatient calls and provide medication refills and documents as needed.
• Develop and implement protocols and data collection tools for research and quality improvement.
• Assist in policy development and regulatory accreditation activities.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure program activities comply with guidelines and standards.
• Educate staff on program criteria and current developments.
• Ensure safe, therapeutic continuity of patient care.
• Apply age-specific guidelines across all patient groups.
