Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state license (eNLC)
• BSN degree required
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience
• 2 years of specialty nursing in appropriate area

Responsibilities

• Coordinates evaluation and consultation for patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and ensures documentation and follow-up of tests and care.
• Manages outpatient calls and provides needed documents and medication refills.
• Develops and maintains protocols, data collection tools, and communication methods for research patients and quality improvement data.
• Supports policy development and regulatory accreditation activities to improve patient care.
• Collaborates with departments to ensure activities comply with guidelines and standards.
• Develops staff education on program criteria and current developments.
• Performs other duties to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Demonstrates competency across age groups from neonates to adults.
