Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatrics RN for a night-shift Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit position in Oregon. You will handle ventilator management and care for children aged 0-18, with PALS/BLS requirements and Epic charting usage.

The role may involve floating to nearby units as needed and requires strong references. Qualifications include active RN license (OR license for submission), 2+ years total pediatric experience, Relias 85%+ and COVID vaccine, with prior charge RN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; OR license required for submission
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year pediatric experience; 2+ years total
• Ventilator management experience required
• Neurologic/ICP monitoring, tracheostomy care experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Two manager or supervisor references within last 24 months
• Comprehensive seven-year work history incl. cities/states/dates/PTO
• Relias exam score 85%+ required
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Care for Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit patients aged 0–18
• Care for non-ICU neurosurgical, dialysis, vented patients and complex post-ops
• Use Epic charting system for documentation
• May float within hospital or affiliate hospitals per unit needs
• May charge on some shifts if needed
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based pediatric care in intermediate setting
• Comply with Oregon Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards
