Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a night shift assignment at a children’s hospital, requiring tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care experience. The position is in Cleveland, OH, with a 3x12 hour night schedule (7:00pm–7:30am).

Open to qualified candidates who hold OH RN or compact license, BLS and PALS, at least 1 year of pediatric experience, and the ability to work at least every other holiday.

Qualifications

• OH RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS and PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in pediatrics
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and central line care required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, medical/religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Pediatrics unit within a children's hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00pm-7:30am
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with passing scores required
• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients requiring specialized respiratory and central line support
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• Background check hits are reviewed but open cases and license hits are not accepted
