American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position in a critical access medical center in Oregon. EPIC EMR experience and Oregon RCP licensure are required.

The role includes adult and geriatric respiratory care, ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and aerosol therapy, with 6:00 PM–6:30 AM shifts. BLS/ACLS required; NRP/PALS preferred. Local candidates accepted; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• RRT/CRT credential from NBRC required
• Oregon State Respiratory Therapist license (RT-P) required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS required
• NRP and PALS preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Three years of technical experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, with recent experience within last 3 months
• EPIC experience must be documented in employment history

Responsibilities

• Critical access medical center setting
• Respiratory/Pulmonary department providing basic and critical respiratory care services
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Uses EPIC EMR - experience required
• Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Assess and document appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapy
• Administer aerosol and oxygen therapy while maintaining charts
• Draw arterial blood gases per policy and physician order
• Provide care to ventilator patients
• Assist in department record keeping and training of new employees
• Document care and generate necessary charge and records
• Ability to work independently and supervise others as delegated
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates equal travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days off will not be considered
• No prior disciplinary action on license will be considered
