Job summary

Nexus Children’s Hospital – Dallas is seeking an experienced Nursing House Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and hospital oversight during the night shift. This on-site role guides staff, coordinates staffing and patient flow, and responds to clinical and operational needs across units.

You will mentor nursing staff, ensure safety and quality, maintain regulatory compliance, and partner with physicians to sustain continuous pediatric care.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience, including two years in leadership.
• At least one to two years of pediatric nursing experience.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership during night shifts.
• Oversee nursing staff and patient flow across units.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed management.
• Assess acuity and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Participate in rounds, escalation of care, and emergency responses.
• Collaborate with physicians and departments to ensure continuity of care.
