Job summary

Nexus Children’s Hospital – Shenandoah is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative leadership across the hospital. You will oversee nursing operations, coordinate staffing, ensure patient flow, and respond to emergencies while promoting evidence-based practices and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong pediatrics knowledge, and the ability to manage complex clinical situations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited nursing program required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-wide clinical and administrative leadership during assigned shifts.
• Serve as the primary nursing and administrative resource during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as applicable.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing teams across hospital units.
• Monitor patient acuity, staffing levels, and clinical needs and adjust resources accordingly.
• Coordinate patient flow, including admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed management.
• Respond to emergencies, critical incidents, and changes in patient condition.
