TotalMed Allied seeks a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a travel role in Glendale, AZ. The Peds-RRT will provide direct patient care across clinical areas, handling evaluations and treatments per guidelines.

1 year of acute care experience is required; NBRC-RRT, BLS and ACLS are required, with PALS/NRP potentially required in some areas. Responsibilities include administering modalities, maintaining records, equipment upkeep, arterial puncture, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS are required; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• Travel assignment with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week.

Aufgaben

• Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate and maintain equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
