Qualifications

  • Must be board eligible or certified in Pediatric Nephrology.
  • Must be able to obtain an Ohio medical license.

Ohio-based Akron Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Nephrologist to join its expanding care team. As the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio, Akron Children's was recently named by Modern Healthcare as the fastest-growing children's hospital in the nation!

The successful candidate will join an established team of three pediatric nephrologists diagnosing and treating children and teens with kidney and related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, pheresis services, kidney failure, and pre- and post-transplant care. We also have a kidney dialysis and renal care center for children and teens with kidney failure.

Requirements include board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Nephrology and the ability to obtain an Ohio medical license.

This position is a 501(c)(3) site eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
