Akron Children's Hospital, Ohio's largest pediatric healthcare system and recently recognized as the fastest growing children's hospital in the nation by Modern Healthcare, is seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join its expanding team.
The successful candidate will join an established team of three pediatric nephrologists diagnosing and treating children and teens with kidney-related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, pheresis services, kidney failure, and pre- and post-transplant care. The hospital also features a kidney dialysis and renal care center for children and teens with kidney failure.
Requirements include board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Nephrology and the ability to obtain an Ohio medical license. This position qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
