We are seeking a Pediatric Nephrologist to join our expanding care team. Akron Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio, was recently named by Modern Healthcare as the fastest-growing children's hospital in the nation.
The successful candidate will join a team of three pediatric nephrologists diagnosing and treating children and teens with kidney-related diseases, including high blood pressure, urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, pheresis services, kidney failure, and pre/post-transplant care. We also operate a kidney dialysis and renal care center for children with kidney failure.
Requirements include board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Nephrology and the ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio. This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the federal government.
