Rheumatologist – Loyola Medicine

Loyola University Health System (LUHS) and Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine are seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist with outstanding clinical skills and demonstrated excellence in patient care. This is a clinical position providing patient care at Loyola, Gottlieb, and MacNeal hospitals. Ideal candidates, in addition to providing ambulatory care, will also have an interest in inpatient care. An academic appointment for teaching is also available.

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The three-hospital system includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, MacNeal Hospital, and other locations offering primary, specialty, and urgent care services from more than 1,500 physicians throughout Cook, Will, and DuPage counties.

Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood is a 547-bed hospital featuring the William G. and Mary A. Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, a Level 1 trauma center, Illinois's largest burn center, a comprehensive stroke center, and a children’s hospital. Loyola has delivered compassionate care for over 50 years and trains future caregivers through its academic affiliations with Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine and Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.

Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park is a 247-bed community hospital with an emergency department, Loyola Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care, and the Loyola Cancer Care & Research Facility at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center. MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn is a 374-bed teaching hospital with advanced medical, surgical, psychiatric services, inpatient rehab, a skilled nursing facility, and community clinics.
