Shine Pediatrics & Wellness Center in Richardson, TX is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist. You’ll be the first friendly face and voice for families, greeting check-ins, verifying insurance, and guiding them through scheduling and payments.

In this pediatric setting, you’ll support check-out, help families with portal issues, registrations, and follow-ups, and provide excellent customer service in person or by phone.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a medical receptionist (preferred in pediatrics).
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Comfort working with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and check in patients, verify insurance, update demographics, and collect payments.
• Support patients at check-out: collect payments, schedule follow-up visits, and assist with supplement sales.
• Answer and triage phone calls, texts, and portal messages with professionalism and care.
• Help guide families through registration and troubleshoot patient portal issues.
• Provide excellent customer service—whether in person, over the phone, or via messaging.
