Evolving Solution Services is seeking a warm, professional Medical Receptionist for our Crystal Lake pediatric front desk. You will manage check-ins/outs, scheduling, communications, and payments while supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of medical receptionist or front desk experience required.
• Previous pediatric medical office experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with check-in/check-out, scheduling, patient communication and workflows.
• Comfortable with children, parents and caregivers in a busy healthcare setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a calm, empathetic demeanor.
• Comfortable handling payments, basic reconciliation and policies.
• Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems.
• Experience with patient portals and Square POS is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Reliable, punctual, accountable and team-oriented.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Positive attitude and interest in functional pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families warmly and professionally.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out and scheduling.
• Handle payments and process superbills as appropriate.
• Enter/verify patient demographic and billing data.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EHR.
• Coordinate with clinical staff for daily patient flow.
• Respond to non-clinical questions and route concerns.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant communications and documentation.
• Support daily administrative tasks and front desk organization.
