Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support pediatric care teams in a clinical setting. You will assist clinicians, manage patient intake, document histories, and help with vaccines and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma / Certification required; or 3+ years MA experience in healthcare.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Current, valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality patient experience; welcome patients and keep a safe environment.
• Record intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormal findings.
• Document patient histories, meds, allergies, and immunizations accurately.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians with procedures.
• Conduct vaccine and medication reconciliation and patient education.
• Handle phone inquiries, referrals, and follow-up tasks as needed.
