Formación

• Two years of experience in a clinical practice as a Medical Assistant.
• Ability to perform routine and complex medical skills within MA scope.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and windows-based software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Perform vital signs, medical history review, health maintenance, and screenings as part of patient rooming.
• Assist provider with procedures and administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling, POCT and CLIA-waived tests per policy.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and process insurance authorizations.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Train and onboard teammates as needed; participate in team initiatives.

Educación

High school diploma or GED

Medical Assistant program completion

Military clinical training (DD214) in lieu of program
