Utah Valley Pediatrics in Eagle Mountain, UT is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support pediatric care. This part-time role involves patient greeting, vital signs, assisting providers, immunizations, basic lab tests, and maintaining clean exam rooms.

The position also covers scheduling, documenting in EHR, handling calls, and educating families about treatment plans. In-person, 20-24 hours/week with a collaborative team and opportunities for additional shifts.

Qualificações

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior pediatric or family practice experience is desirable.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with children of all ages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be fully vaccinated, including annual influenza; accommodation requests possible.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and families and ensure a comfortable environment.
• Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, measure height/weight, and document medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer immunizations and medications as directed by the provider.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens for analysis.
• Maintain a clean and sterile exam environment.
• Schedule appointments and manage follow-up care.
• Document patient information in EHR accurately and confidentially.
• Handle calls and relay messages to providers.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Educate parents about child health and prescribed treatments.
