Job summary

Utah Valley Pediatrics in Provo, UT is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our pediatric team in a fast-paced, in-person setting. You will greet patients, take vitals, prepare for exams, administer vaccines, and assist providers during procedures.

Ideal candidates have completed a Medical Assistant program (CMA/RMA preferred), CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with pediatric patients and EHR systems. This is an on-call role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Prior pediatric/family practice experience desirable.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work with children.
• Must be fully vaccinated, including annual influenza vaccination; accommodation may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families warmly; ensure a comfortable environment.
• Take vitals, document medical history, and prepare patients for exams.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures; support immunizations and basic labs.
