Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience or training.
• Knowledge of pediatric EKG placement and processing.
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs and intake.
• Prepare patients for X‑rays.
• Perform and document routine labs (nasal swabs, venipuncture).
• Irrigate and assist with wounds.
• Assist in lab quality control testing.
• Maintain exam rooms and waiting area cleanliness.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow safety practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support care team.
