Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant is a plus.
• At least one year of experience in medical office; pediatrics experience highly preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience with AthenaOne is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow within the medical office.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process for patients.
• Handle copays and balance dues efficiently.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Warmly greet patients and visitors.
• Collect patient information, document medical histories, and update patient records in EMR.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with examinations or procedures.
• Prepare, restock, and sanitize examination rooms.
