Job summary

Pediatric Associates is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a pediatric setting. You will greet families, prepare exam rooms, document vitals and histories in the EMR, and assist with vaccines and routine procedures. The role involves routine patient contact, basic screenings, and coordination of referrals.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, MA certification preferred, and a valid BLS. Occasional multi-location travel may be required in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification preferred; commensurate experience may apply.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Driver's license upon hire and for travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients; prepare exam rooms and supplies.
• Document vital signs and patient history in EMR.
• Assist clinicians during routine procedures and vaccines.
• Perform basic screenings and collect specimens for testing.
• Maintain patient records and assist scheduling and referrals.
