Job summary

PAFC in Texas seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in pediatric patient care and administrative tasks. You will welcome patients, document vital signs, and assist with routine procedures in a safe, compliant environment.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, collecting specimens, and managing EMR records. Occasional travel to other offices (15-20%) is required and reimbursed per policy. Prior MA certification and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical foreign doctors must have a Bachelor of Science degree in General Medicine from a regionally accredited university or equivalent.
• Experience may be commensurate with education.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients; prepare exam rooms with cleanliness and supplies.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history in the EMR.
• Assist clinicians during routine examinations and procedures.
• Administer vaccines and collect routine lab specimens.
• Maintain patient records and support scheduling and referrals.
• Follow HIPAA, safety and infection control policies.
