Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide compassionate patient care in a busy clinic setting. You will support the provider, collect vitals, prepare exam rooms, and assist with education and instructions for patients.

You will work under physician or APP supervision, perform clerical tasks, and help coordinate care, including scheduling, imaging, lab calls, and prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Medical Assistant diploma preferred.
• 3–5 years Medical Assistant experience required.
• Heartsaver certification and NCCT MA credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout visits and respond to needs.
• Handle scheduling, imaging, lab calls, authorizations, and records.
• Record vitals and basic medical information.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision.
