Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care in a clinic setting under physician direction. You will assist patients, schedule appointments, collect data, and support diagnostic imaging and lab processes, while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and Medical Assistant certification preferred; training includes EMR navigation, vitals collection, injections, and basic first aid.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred among listed credentials.
• Heartsaver / BLS certifications may be preferred or required.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively assists patients throughout the visit and accompanies to exam rooms.
• Performs clerical tasks: scheduling, lab calls, prior authorizations, EMR data entry.
• Collects and records vital signs and basic patient information.
• Performs EKGs, wound care, dressings, and prepares exam rooms.
• Administers medications and immunizations under supervision.
• Maintains infection control and stock for exam rooms.
