Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure and ACLS/BCLS are required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork supporting improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and supplies management.
