Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide pediatric care for children with special medical needs in Villa Rica, GA. This part-time position supports families and the healthcare team under supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The role focuses on basic nursing tasks, medication administration, monitoring, feeding support, and collaboration with physicians and therapists. Active GA LPN license, CPR, and pediatric experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia.
• 1–2 years nursing experience, pediatrics preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• PALS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work with families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to the patient’s established care plan.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments within the LPN’s scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervising RN.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, positioning, mobility and daily care.
• Provide feeding tube care and operate prescribed equipment as trained.
• Reinforce family education on care techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with supervising RN, physicians and therapists on care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations.
• Follow infection control procedures and patient safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing pediatric nursing education.
