Job summary

Elite-Recruiting is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric patients with special needs in Villa Rica, GA. This part-time role supports families and the healthcare team under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include administering meds, monitoring vitals, assisting with daily care, documenting observations, and providing family education. Requires GA LPN license, CPR, and preferably PALS; compassionate, patient-focused teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, pediatric/neurological care preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• PALS certification or willingness to obtain if required for assignment.
• Strong communication with families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plan.
• Administer medications within the LPN’s scope.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the supervising RN.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, positioning, mobility and daily care.
• Provide feeding tube care and operate equipment as trained.
• Reinforce family education on care techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with the supervising RN, physicians and therapists.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations.
• Follow infection prevention procedures and safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing education in pediatric nursing.
