Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide part-time pediatric care in Marietta, GA. The role focuses on one-on-one care for a child with special medical needs and requires experience with neurological or physical conditions, including Cerebral Palsy.

The LPN will collaborate with the family and healthcare team to ensure safe, consistent, and compassionate care, including feeding tube support and accurate documentation of care delivered.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric, private-duty, home health or special-needs nursing preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a pediatric patient with special medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered within the LPN scope.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the care team.
• Assist with feeding, mobility, positioning, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Provide feeding tube care and assist with pediatric equipment as required.
• Follow the established plan of care and physician orders.
• Communicate with the patient’s family regarding routine care needs and observations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Follow healthcare, safety and infection-control standards.
• Collaborate with supervising nurses, physicians, therapists, and other team members.
