Job summary

Elite-Recruiting- seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time pediatric care in Marietta, GA. The role focuses on one-on-one support for a child with neurological or physical needs, in-home or private-duty settings.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric or home-health preferred.
• Ability to care for children with neurological or physical disabilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a pediatric patient with special medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in the patient’s condition and report concerns appropriately.
• Assist with feeding, mobility, positioning, hygiene, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide feeding tube care and assist with other medical equipment as required.
• Follow the established plan of care and physician orders.
• Support and communicate with the patient’s family regarding routine care needs and observations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Follow all applicable healthcare, safety, and infection‑control standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervising nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
