Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County seeks an LPN Nurse Administrator to oversee the nursing component of our childcare program. You will train staff, provide direct nursing care to children, and coordinate with the center director and nursing supervisor to ensure compliant operations.

Responsibilities include skilled nursing, care plan development, family education, and documentation. A Maryland LPN license and pediatric experience are required, with a 40-hour workweek, weekdays, at the Jaycee-Arc

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a LPN degree and licensed in Maryland or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, pediatrics preferred
• Current first aid, infant, child and adult CPR required
• Must pass criminal background investigation

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, monitoring equipment, and emergencies.
• Collaborate with parents, physicians, therapists, and care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Support behavioral interventions with the Behavior Analyst and implement IFSP/IEP and nursing care plans.
• Monitor children's health through routine classroom visits and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
