Interim HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - Pediatrics for flexible PRN/part-time shifts in Brookings and surrounding areas. The role involves providing nursing care, administering medications, monitoring patients, and supporting families in home settings.

We offer competitive pay of $34-$36 per hour, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, 24/7 on-call support, CE courses, health insurance after 1 year, 401(k), and additional benefits, with opportunities to progress to full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous LPN experience required – 1000 hours worked.
• 1 year pediatric experience.
• Current CPR certification; on-site CPR certification available for qualified candidates.
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional care in long-term home settings.

Responsabilités

• Providing nursing care and supporting clients health, safety and well-being.
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders, Interim policies and applicable regulations.
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Completing nursing assessments with appropriate monitored according to plan of care.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs.
• Observing clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Identifying and reporting concerns related to patient care, medications, or medical equipment.

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Responsibilities

As an LPN working with Interim HealthCare, responsibilities may include:

• Providing nursing care and supporting clients health, safety and comfort and well-being
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders, Interim policies and applicable regulations
• Assisting with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Completing nursing assessments with appropriate monitored according to plan of care
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Observing clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Identifying and reporting concerns related to patient care, medications, or medical equipment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity or multistate privileges, as applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous LPN experience required – 1000 hours worked
• 1 year pediatric experience
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates
• Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional care in long-term care in a variety of different home environments
