Interim HealthCare of Augusta is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support in-home care services in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on compassionate patient care, wound management, med administration, and adherence to clinical protocols.

We offer flexible scheduling (PRN and part-time with potential for full-time), weekly pay at $30 per hour, and access to continuing education. Join a dedicated team delivering quality home healthcare across the region.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity or multistate privileges.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous LPN experience required - 1000 hours worked.
• Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates.
• Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards.
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional nursing care in a variety of home settings.

Responsabilités

• Providing wound care and monitoring wound healing.
• Managing medications and administering treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
• Providing care for patients with PEG tubes and related feeding needs, as applicable.
• Administering infusions and monitoring patients for responses or complications.
• Performing lab draws and collecting specimens as ordered.
• Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring clients conditions.
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Performing other nursing duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Responsibilities

As an LPN working with Interim HealthCare, nurses may review and decline any assignment prior to accepting it if they are not comfortable with required tasks. Additional training is provided where needed. Some responsibilities could include:

• Providing wound care and monitoring wound healing
• Managing medications and administering treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols
• Providing care for patients with percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes and related feeding needs, as applicable
• Administering infusions and monitoring patients for responses or complications
• Performing lab draws and collecting specimens as ordered
• Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring clients conditions
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Performing other nursing duties as assigned within the scope of practice

• Must be at least 18 years of age
