Job summary

MCR Health is seeking a Staff LPN for the South Manatee Pediatric site in Bradenton, FL. You will provide patient care under supervision, take vital signs, interview families, and document findings to support high-quality care.

You will collaborate with providers, oversee triage by allied staff, assist with exams and procedures, and process referrals and authorizations in a timely manner. Fluency in Spanish is a plus and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Current LPN license in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing.
• 1+ years of clinical experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, interview patients/families, and document findings.
• Collaborate with providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
• Maintain positive communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and staff.
• Oversee the patient triage process by CNAs/MAs and phlebotomists.
• Ensure providers’ orders are directed to appropriate departments.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and sutures as requested.
• Complete authorizations and referrals for patients in a timely manner.
• Support walk-in triage under the Charge Nurse leadership.
