Pediatrica Health Group in Sarasota, FL is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric care team. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with exams, administer medications, and support a family-centered approach in our clinical office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, active LPN license in the state of practice, in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an ambulatory or medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, obtain and document vital signs, chief complaints, and medical histories in the EMR.
• Must have pediatric experience.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed.
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per provider orders and scope of practice.
• Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, catheterizations, and point-of-care testing.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.
• Document patient interactions, care provided, and clinical notes accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Triage incoming patient calls and messages; communicate clinical concerns to providers appropriately.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests per provider instruction.
