Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old pediatric patient at home in Boonton, NJ. Schedule includes Saturdays and Sundays with weekend shifts, offering 27 total hours per week and $40 per hour.

This part-time role emphasizes building a strong caregiver-family relationship and delivering high-quality pediatric home care in the patient’s home setting.

Qualifications

• New Jersey LPN license current and active.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience providing one-on-one care in a home setting.
• Familiarity with respiratory equipment or similar clinical needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old at home.
• Monitor and manage respiratory equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with family and clinical team to plan care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during visits.

Patient & Clinical Needs

• Patient: 3-year-old child

• Care Setting: Pediatric home care

• Location: Boonton, NJ

• Clinical Equipment/Needs:

  • GJT

  • Pulse oximeter

A minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience is preferred. Experience with respiratory equipment and complex pediatric care is a plus.

Available Shifts

Saturday

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Sunday

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Total: 27 hours per week

Compensation

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $40 per hour

Qualifications

• Current and active New Jersey LPN license

• Experience providing one-on-one care in a home setting

• Comfortable caring for pediatric patients with complex medical needs

• Experience with GJT, suctioning, pulse oximetry, respiratory equipment, or similar clinical needs is preferred
