Job summary

Affirmed Home Care seeks a compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old in their home in Boonton, NJ. The role is part-time with Saturday and Sunday shifts, offering flexible weekend scheduling and a meaningful pediatric home-care experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience, familiarity with respiratory equipment, and a NJ RN license.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience with respiratory equipment and complex pediatric care is a plus.
• Current and active New Jersey RN license is required.
• Experience providing one-on-one care in a home setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old in the patient’s home.
• Monitor vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate closely with family and the clinical team to ensure safe, effective care.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday

Pay: $45 per hour

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of their home in Boonton, NJ.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatric nurse who enjoys providing personalized care and building a strong relationship with a patient and family.

Patient & Clinical Needs

• Patient: 3-year-old child
• Care Setting: Pediatric home care
• Location: Boonton, NJ
• Clinical Equipment/Needs:
  • GJT
  • CPT vest
  • Cough assist
  • Suction
  • Pulse oximeter

A minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience is preferred. Experience with respiratory equipment and complex pediatric care is a plus.

Available Shifts

Saturday

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Sunday

• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Total: 27 hours per week

Compensation

Registered Nurse (RN): $45 per hour

Qualifications

• Current and active New Jersey RN license
• A minimum of 1 year pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience providing one-on-one care in a home setting
• Comfortable caring for pediatric patients with complex medical needs
• Experience with GJT, suctioning, pulse oximetry, respiratory equipment, or similar clinical needs is preferred
