Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-VI Certification required within two years of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year radiology, cardiac cath, or IR experience.
• Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency licensure.
• Excellent communication/listening skills; bilingual helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs IR imaging procedures per department standards.
• Meets age-specific competency standards.
• Produces examinations that meet image quality standards.
• Submits images for physician interpretation.
• Verifies accuracy of patient demographic information and clinical data.
• Maintains timely data entry for patient care.
• Adheres to radiation safety program.
• Collaborates with nurses and physicians to achieve positive outcomes.
